1. Have plenty of bags available

Having a few bags at your disposal is great. But how do you know which reusable bags are the best in terms of durability, practicality and also the environment?

Our favourite reusable shopping bag are the nylon ones which can be folded up into the size of a mobile phone. These are available at a cheap price from the supermarket or from brands such as Onya or SAKitToMe.

2. Stash them in several places

Having reusable bags located in the places that you travel the most with would be great. Stash your reusable bags especially in your car, in your bag that you use the most, your bike, the pram and anywhere else that you might need them.

3. PUT YOUR BAGS BACK

This is a really important step and that is why it is in capital letters. Always remember to put the bags back to where it belongs after unloading your groceries from the bag.

4. Include “bags” in your shopping list

Always a good idea to put bags as the first item in your shopping list so you will not forget to bring them down from your car.
